Subject: Goodwood Motor Circuit Wednesday 22nd September
Ladies
and gentlemen,
Several
of you came on the parade laps at Goodwood on Wednesday. These 51 vehicles
raised £1020 towards the total of £4925, which was easily our best ever
result. I enclose the results. When the building society stage coaches have
carried the cheques (it needs a week) I will send that sum to Friends of
Chichester Hospitals.
I
would like to apologise to the afternoon parade. There were too many of you for
one parade, which caused bunching and stopping; I should have split you into two
groups and in future will do so to ensure that you have a good drive at moderate
speed.

Our
next event will be at Castle Combe near Chippenham in Wiltshire on Tuesday 12th
October. This will be a much smaller event which will nonetheless raise over £1,000
for Macmillan Cancer Relief for the hospice at Midhurst.
Parade
laps will be available several times during the day – say twice in the morning
and twice in the afternoon. When about ten cars have gathered I will stop the
track day and send the parade out. If you cannot make it yourself, please tell
your friends. EDP will again be taking the pics.
